Automated Golf Course Management System Generates New Revenue
The Vision
Personal Ranger, LLC. wants a product that will help golf course management regulate the pace of slow players, so they can schedule more tee times and increase revenue.
The Product
The product, also called Personal Ranger, will consist of GPS enabled golf carts and a clubhouse interface that notifies players and course management of slow play, giving course marshals the information they need to ensure that all players are able to complete a round within a reasonable amount of time. Personal Ranger will specifically point out which players are backing up the course to make it easy for marshals to manage.
The Revenue
When complete, Personal Ranger will make better use of golf courses’ limited inventory of tee times. Course management will be able to schedule more events based on realistic completion time estimates, creating the opportunity to generate additional revenue and eliminating potential player conflicts.
Golf courses around the country are already signing up to implement the technology when it is released.
