The Vision
United Marketing Group (UMG) is a direct marketer of affinity merchandise and membership-based services. They needed to revamp their old website to achieve 2 goals:
1) Make it easier for site visitors to find information and sign up for services, and
2) Simplify the updating process so a non-technical user could quickly implement changes.
The Product
Lextech engineers created a new site in a content management system called Drupal. With minimal training, the non-technical members of the UMG team can now update content quickly and easily using editing tools very similar to what you find in a traditional blog.
The Revenue
The website’s new navigation and revised content is expected to generate revenue through additional service subscriptions. Making the site accessible to a less technical user will allow for frequent updates and save UMG money because they can make changes to the site themselves rather than using an outside resource.
