App Ideation is segmented into 3 equally important phases.
What and Why
This phase is involves a series of meetings to define your organizational objectives and an initial app concept. We will define the ‘what’ and ‘why’ of the system, high-level business and functionality needs, as well as functional (specific system functionality) and non-functional requirements (growth needs, security, hours of operation, etc.).
User Experience
Creating a compelling experience to draw users back to your app over and over is our number one priority during this phase.
We create every app screen as a wireframe diagram with a heavy emphasis on usability. The wireframes are used to define exactly how a user navigates the system, keeping it as simple as possible. The wireframes are then incorporated into a navigable demo app, so end users or key stakeholders can provide user experience feedback.
Next, graphical prototypes will be designed based on the approved app wireframes. These, too, will be part of a navigable demo.
System Scoping
Each of the screens and processes is mapped into Lextech’s proprietary system engineering estimation model that will yield a development estimate with a high level of confidence. The estimate includes all areas necessary to architect, design and build the system.
