The iPad Air brings a great form factor to the iPad family. Here’s a couple quick pictures to show how it fits.
Here’s a picture of an iPad 3, iPad Air and iPad Mini (I love the space gray color on the Air)
The iPad Air is about 1/2 inch narrower than the earlier iPads. The iPad mini is still significantly smaller.
Here you can see that the iPad Air looks to be about 1/2 of the thickness of the iPad 3.
And the iPad Air is just about the same thickness of the iPad Mini — which is really amazing given the retina screen and horsepower.
The iPad Air is obviously much lighter than the prior iPad. It’s even tough to tell the difference between the mini and the air from a weight perspective. Overall the iPad Air is a great looking device that fits well with the way we see people using tablets in enterprise workflows.
