This company is one of the world’s largest financial services providers, with more than 100,000 financial professionals.


Every year this organization sponsors and attends many community events as a way to give back and to meet prospective clients. When employees meet prospects at these events, they collect their contact information on paper using clipboards.

This method for collecting leads was cumbersome and required additional data entry into a computer back at the office after the event. Follow-up appointments were often delayed because information was not instantly available in the company’s lead collection system. Many leads were never transferred into the lead collection system at all, making it almost impossible for the organization to track the effectiveness of their sponsorships.
